Project
Background
On 31st March 2005, Pertamina JOB
Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi and PT Panca Amara Utama
have signed Head of Agreement (HoA) on Senoro Field
Gas Sales, Central Sulawesi in JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta.
The HoA signing was the initial
step to develop Senoro Gas field located in Banggai
Subdistric, Central Sulawesi. In the midst of the sky
rocketing crude price, utilizing gas in Banggai will
become a great alternative.
The field was discovered in 1999 and estimated to have
3.5 TCF gas reserve.
The field has received reserve certificate from GCA
in Januari 2003
PT Panca Amara Utama is one of many prospective buyers
of Pertamina and Medco’s gas which will be bounded
in a sales agreement of Senoro Gas.
Gas sold upon the agreement reaching the amount of 0.8
TCF for the period of 20 years. The amount is 60 percents
of the proven reserve or around 25 percents from all
potential gas in Senoro field.
The signing of HoA on gas sales commenced the development
of Senoro Gas Field in 2005. |
